This little tray is made in polymer clay, and has an almost porcelain like look to it. The clay is transparent, a bit flexible and very sturdy. You can see in the pictures how transparent it is, if you hold it in your hand you will see the shadow of your fingers through the clay.
The tray is covered in speckles of gold, a mixture between real and fake gold foil. I have added the foil both on the surface of the tray, and also molded it into the clay which gives a nice depth as the foil inside the clay is visible.
The tray is protected with several layers of gloss varnish, but still be careful if you store sharp objects in it. It should be kept dry. Please note the size of the tray, it's quite small.
